Despite attempts at negotiating delays and derogations, recent pronouncements from DEFRA and from the Scottish Minister for Agriculture, Mr Richard Lochhead, have confirmed that all Sheep producers will be obliged to maintain 100% records of EID tagged animals or face cross-compliance penalties applied through the RPA on Single Farm Payments.
